*Tartar removal appears as a hard, yellowish substance that cannot be removed with a normal toothbrush, which can promote tooth decay and gum inflammation that can cause periodontitis. For this reason, it is advisable to periodically schedule a professional hygiene session.
*Tips for maintaining proper oral hygiene: Proper cleaning after each meal and a healthy diet are essential for a healthy mouth that lasts over time. There are various risk factors to keep under control for proper personal oral hygiene. Insufficient salivation, unbalanced diet, use of medications and drugs, are factors that put oral health at risk. The figure of the hygienist can be of great value, with our children, to teach them the correct techniques and habits and to motivate them to carry them out daily.
